After creating a landmark in the television history, Aamir Khan is planning a second season of his show Satyamev Jayate, which highlights various social issues in each of its episodes. It has received a dream response from the audience, asserts the actor.
The 13-episode season one has already crossed its halfway mark and the 47-year-old actor is happy with the impact it has created. "The change in the society has been evident. We have received a dream response, having empowered ourselves with knowledge. So many things have happened which has made it difficult for our research team to actually find out the actual impact we have created”, Aamir said in an interaction with the audience at a radio station.
Aamir said hosting Satyamev Jayate has brought him closer to the people of his country and the show has been able to touch their lives while addressing various issues. "I have on a personal level come closer through this initiative to our country. People told me the show would be a failure on social issues, but now people from Kashmir to Kanyakumari are associated with this show and want to see change in our society," he said.
Though he wishes for a season 2 of the show but wants to research fully before executing the plans! He wants his team to figure out the impact season 1 had post which they will move on with season 2.
Well, with Aamir such researches are bound to come as perfection is what stands to be his priority!
